Puppy programmes
Early development, learning, and everyday life with a young dog.

Puppies are learning about the world from the moment they arrive. How they experience those early weeks and months shapes how they cope with change, challenge, and everyday life as they grow.
Our puppy programmes focus on understanding development, observing behaviour, and building foundations that make future training and behaviour clearer and more achievable. This isn't about quick fixes or rigid timelines. It's about enjoyment, learning, understanding, and progress that fits the puppy in front of you.

Who these programmes are for
These programmes are for puppies and young dogs, and for owners who want to understand what their puppy needs rather than follow prescriptive rules or expectations.
They can be useful whether you are preparing for a puppy, settling a new arrival, or navigating adolescence with a dog who feels harder to live with than expected.

How the programmes work
Puppy programmes are structured but flexible. Sessions and learning are shaped around the individual puppy, the home environment, and what that puppy is ready for at each stage of development.
Depending on your needs, programmes may include one-to-one sessions, group classes, or guided learning delivered over time. The emphasis is always on understanding and appropriate progression, rather than rushing ahead to milestones.
Why this approach matters
Many behaviour challenges seen later in life can be traced back to gaps in early learning or unrealistic expectations placed on young dogs.
By slowing things down with a focus on understanding, puppy programmes help reduce confusion, frustration, and stress for both dogs and owners.
This approach builds clarity, consistency, and confidence from the start.
