Behaviour support in Bath, Trowbridge and Bradford-on-Avon

Behaviour support for dogs in Bath, Trowbridge, and the surrounding towns.

When the problem is bigger than a class, you need a proper assessment, a clear plan, and someone who has seen it before.

How a case works

Assessment. Plan. Follow-up. No guesswork.

Assessment

A one-hour session in your home, often with another household member present. We watch, we listen, we ask questions. We do not jump in with answers.

Plan

A written plan tailored to your dog and your house. Steps, milestones, what to expect when.

Follow-up

Weekly or fortnightly sessions plus message support so you are never working alone.

For vets

We accept behaviour referrals from vets across Bath and the surrounding area. We work alongside veterinary medicine, not against it. If your client’s case would benefit from behaviour input, we are happy to speak with you directly before any session is booked. If you are insured, then you may be able to get the costs covered by your insurance.

Residential training holidays

Not local to us? How about joining us for our residential training holidays?

An immersive, five-day training holiday staying in gorgeous lodges that sleep up to six, with two meals catered a day (up to two people included, and more can be catered for with prior arrangement). There are three hours of training every morning, helping you gain a better understanding of your dog, their needs and training goals. The afternoons are free, so you can enjoy the beautiful Wiltshire countryside with your dog and your new-found skills.

The holidays were a huge success last year and many of those who came last year are returning for more this year as they had a lot of fun and got so much from it.

Suitable for dog- or people-reactive dogs, overly social dogs, dogs with poor impulse control or high prey drive, dogs with anxiety and/or phobias, dogs who need help with recall or loose-lead walking, or any foundational skills.

Watch a video that goes through the holiday in more detail: on YouTube.

What owners say.

“My Cockapoo Paddy is very reactive, and his barking and unwanted behaviour was becoming unbearable. Adam has changed that, we now have things in place to reduce it. It is not easy to keep at it, but it is paying off. I would recommend most definitely.”

Joanne, Bristolwith Paddy, a Cockapoo

“I cannot recommend The Whole Hound Academy enough. So grateful for everything that Adam and his team have done. It has literally been life changing.”

Helen S, Trowbridge

“Attended a training and behaviour day with Adam. Really interesting and learnt some great new exercises. Definitely recommend to anyone.”

Leanne, Bradford-on-Avon
