Five days in the Wiltshire countryside. Expert training every morning, your afternoons free, and a dog you actually understand by the time you go home.
A board-and-train sends your dog away and hands back a trained dog that unravels within days, because you were never trained. We built the holidays to fix exactly that. You are in the room, learning alongside your dog, so what you gain comes home with you and lasts.
Three hours of expert training every morning, building a real understanding of your dog, their needs and your goals.
Free to explore. The Roundway White Horse just above Devizes, Avebury stone circle, Stonehenge and Salisbury Plain, the Caen Hill Locks on the canal, and dog-friendly country pubs across some of the most beautiful countryside in England.
Half board included, breakfast and lunch, and a gorgeous lodge to come home to each evening.
We stay at Mill Farm Glamping, a luxury site set in open countryside near Devizes. It is the kind of place that makes you exhale the moment you arrive: spotless, full of character, with a magical, Shire-inspired feel and warm, attentive hosts. A TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice winner, and fully dog friendly.
Spacious canvas lodges with hot tubs and well-equipped kitchens, set in the heart of the site. Each lodge sleeps up to six, with two meals a day included for two guests, more by arrangement.
Next date: August 2026. Five days.

“A perfect way to get away from it all with my canine companion: excellent morning training sessions led by Adam, with guest specialists for the afternoon sessions. The humans were spoilt too, with delicious home-cooked breakfasts and lunches, and accommodation in beautiful safari lodges. In the evenings we were free to chill or mingle in the heart of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, with entertaining goats and nosey alpacas. The holiday was so worthwhile and so relaxing, Bertie insisted I book again!”
Lyndawith Bertie“The five-day training retreat, led by the experienced and charismatic Adam Daines, offers 5-star benefits. My two Labradors improved in every area, and by the end were calmly working close to other dogs with maximum focus. I saw considerable improvements in my own handling skills too, which reduced my anxiety and increased my confidence. Topped with excellent catering and laughter-filled socialising with other guests. I would highly recommend it, and intend to book again next year.”
