Training Retreats

Time away with your dog, learning and enjoying life together.

Dog Training Holiday.jpeg

Training retreats are holidays designed for people who love spending time away with their dogs and want the space to learn, explore, and enjoy being together.

These retreats offer time away from day-to-day routines, with opportunities to build skills, ask questions, and deepen understanding in real-life settings. Learning happens naturally through shared experiences, guided sessions, and everyday moments, rather than formal or pressured training.

These holidays are about enjoyment first, with learning woven in along the way.

When a training retreat makes sense

A training retreat can be a great fit for people who enjoy holidaying with their dogs and want time and space to focus on learning together.

These breaks often suit people who:

  • Want to spend quality time away with their dog

  • Enjoy learning in real-life settings rather than formal classes

  • Value guidance they can apply during everyday activities

  • Would like time to ask questions and explore skills without pressure

  • Intensive sessions where you can geek out

What a training retreat involves

Training holidays are planned around each individual dog and the people they come with. Time is taken beforehand to understand routines, preferences, and any areas people would like to focus on during their stay.

Days are built around shared activities, time outdoors, and everyday life, with guided sessions and conversations woven in. Learning happens through observation, discussion, and practical application during real situations, rather than formal training setups.

Owners are involved throughout, with space to ask questions, reflect, and build confidence in using what they learn during the holiday and once they return home.

Important considerations

These retreats are designed to be relaxing and enjoyable for everyone taking part. They are best suited for dogs who are comfortable being around people and other dogs.

Reactive dogs are welcome, provided they can remain settled and relaxed at least 10 metres from others. This allows everyone to enjoy shared spaces comfortably and safely.

If you’re unsure whether this feels like the right fit for your dog, we’re always happy to talk it through before you book.
